AI assistants like Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor can read, reason over, and create your tasks directly. Daily streaks use forgiving grace periods, and capturing a todo takes about two seconds.

### Can AI assistants like Claude or ChatGPT manage my Ticker tasks?

Yes. Ticker exposes both a REST API and an MCP server, so any MCP-aware client — Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or n8n — can view your habits and todos and create new ones for you. Every action is scoped by a Personal Access Token you control and can revoke at any time.

### What happens to my streak if I miss a day?

Nothing breaks. Ticker's streaks use forgiving grace periods, so a missed day or two won't reset your progress. It's designed for distractible, busy minds — visual urgency cues replace nagging notifications, so you stay motivated without the all-or-nothing pressure of rigid habit apps.
